Morgan Dollars
1893 $1 MS64 PCGS. The Panic of 1893 and the repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act resulted in drastically reduced production of silver dollars at all the U.S. Mints in 1893. Accordingly, only 389,000 Morgan dollars were struck at the Philadelphia facility, making the issue an elusive semikey to the series. This attractive Choice example exhibits sharply detailed design elements and well-preserved, brilliant surfaces that radiate vibrant mint luster throughout.
